Some news from the programmer's workshop... I just released v1.2 of Folders Popup, thanks to some users suggestions. See the details on the support page.

Next release should be CSV Buddy with search-and-replace features. More to come on this in the next weeks.

For now, I'm returning to my new project: MyTunesCovers. This is a tool to manage iTunes and MP3 covers (artworks, as iTunes call them). I'm not yet ready to give more information on this but, when in its time, an Alpha release will allow interested users to give it a try. Let me know if you are interested.

Folders Popup new release 1.2 (up to v1.2.3)

Thanks to users suggestions, a new release of Folders Popup is out!

2014-01-26 v1.2

  • Use numeric menu shortcuts to launch folders in popup menu
  • Display the popup menu at a fix position
  • Diagnostic mode to collect support info (if user consents)
  • Redesign of the Options dialog box
  • 2014-02-01 v1.2.1 (bug fix release)
    • Fix a bug that added separator lines at the bottom of Tray Menu
    • Improve diagnostic data collection (always at the user's discretion)
  • 2014-02-20 v1.2.2 (bug fix release)
    • Opens new Explorer windows complying with the Explorer navigation pane setting (more info here)
  • 2014-02-26 v1.2.3 (bug fix release)
    • Windows XP only release: revert to v1.2.1 state for XP users due to a unwanted behavior of Windows Explorer XP with of v1.2.2 (more info here)

On the support side, this new release will allow users having trouble to trigger the popup menu in some specific configurations to send me a diagnostic file that will, hopefully, help me find a solution to their situation.

CSV Buddy at work for We Love Aural

Interesting to see how a CSV file is transfromed to an HTML page using CSV Buddy to produce the We Love Aural home page.
